Erika Knight's British Blue is a pure wool yarn made from the fleece of the Bluefaced Leicester sheep. The maximum softness combined with a delicate shimmer makes the fur of these sheep one of the most valuable yarn suppliers.
Due to its first-class quality, softness, and warming properties, this pure Bluefaced Leicester wool is British Blue Label certified. It is excellent for children's knits.
Considered Britain's most luxurious fiber, the wool from this breed is very soft due to its long staple fibers which are spun to create a fine, lightweight yarn that is low-pilling and hard-wearing.
Known for its luster, Bluefaced Leicester wool has a subtle sheen for excellent stitch definition thanks to its densely looped fleece, it takes dye extremely well for a vibrant, shimmering effect.

C’est une laine « sèche « qui s’adoucit au blocage mais qui reste moins douce qu’une mérinos.
La couleur est uniforme et un peu brillante, on obtient une belle définition de points.
Une laine idéale pour les gros pulls d’hiver selon moi.

Quelle magnifique laine, je cherchais juste une couleur rose et j'ai découvert en dehors d'une très belle couleur une laine magnifique agréable douce se tricotant facilement. J'ai déjà d'autres projets en tête.
